Questions About The Update?

As all of you should see, Forumotion added new features to their boards.

If anyone has any questions about the new features, post here, and I'll try my best to answer.

Could you tell me what the reputation things are?

They are basically a "thank-you!", or a "Your post sucks!" The more positive reputation you have, the cooler you are

Visitor Message:

It's basically a public private message. Just go to the person's profile and you can leave them a message or whatever.

Since there is no notification for these messages, I suggest checking your profile whenever you can to see if you have got a message.

Anybody elses birthday wrong on their public profiles? My profile has the correct date of 1/16/74, but the public profile has it at 1/15/74.

Yeah, mine says my birthday is the 17th, but it's the 18th.

Okay. Until I get an answer, if you want, just change the date in your profile to the next day (my birthday is the 9th, I changed it to the 10th)

I noticed on threads that you create that you can give thanks? (Its next to the quote button). Is this similar to rep?

Do you see the little + and - in the members posts? If you do, the + is to pos-rep, and the - is to neg.

Oh, and they aren't colored, FYI

My birthday is fine but my Chinese sign has changed from a Horse to a snake. I'll try changing it like you said Lady O.

Also I really love the profile messagine. Shame the rep is hard to find and sometimes isn't there.

Hm. I just noticed I have the rat, when I'm supposed to have the Ox...I'll have to report this to the people over on the help forum.

I tried changing the day but that didn't work so I went with being one year younger just so I could get the horse icon.

I'm one of those people that notice these things since I love my sign. It's such a little thing but I hope it can get fixed.

No. A thank-you button will apear to a poster who made the thread, and they can thank those who replied with good answers, etc.

When you go to the person's profile, click on "Visitor's Messages" and then go to "new post" and pooossssst. I've already posted on your profile, I'm just waiting for a reply xD

I still don't see the "new post" button

Is it just me or did the Zodiac signs and the rep buttons disappear?
